Anadolu Isuzu scores “A” in the Climate Change and Water Security modules of the Carbon Disclosure Project

Turkey’s commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu continues to lead the sector with its sustainability-focused strategies. The company has become one of the most successful companies on a global scale by receiving an A rating in the Climate Change and Water Security Programs within the scope of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), one of the world’s most prestigious environmental assessment platforms. In 2024, more than 24,800 companies representing two-thirds of the global market value reported their environmental data through CDP, while Anadolu Isuzu managed to enter the A-list with its pioneering approach to sustainability.


The report, which was prepared and shared by Anadolu Isuzu for the first time in 2022 as part of the CDP Climate Change Program, includes details on the company's efforts to combat the climate crisis. In addition to the company's low-carbon economy focused efforts, the report also conveys its environmental sustainability strategies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the practices it has implemented in line with its commitments in this area. Anadolu Isuzu meets a significant portion of its energy needs from solar energy through renewable energy investments and continues to work with a net zero emission target in line with its Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) commitment. The company also takes solid steps to combat the climate crisis by verifying its greenhouse gas emissions by third-party independent organizations following the ISO 14064 standard.


Within the scope of the CDP Water Security Program, the Company makes significant contributions to protecting water resources with the strategies it develops for optimizing water use and sustainable management of water. Anadolu Isuzu uses technologies that increase water efficiency in its production processes to save water, modernize wastewater treatment systems, and develops environmentally sensitive solutions. In addition, it has adopted a comprehensive risk management strategy to ensure that water resources are protected against overuse and pollution risks.
