Increasing population trend in urban areas is expected to continue in European countries in years to come. This situation will lead to more vehicles to be on roads and have longer daily journeys and as a result more air pollution. Transportation sector represents a significant part of Europe’s greenhouse gas emissions and it is one of the main cause air pollution in cities. Therefore developing environmentally and socially friendly modes of transport is a necessity.
Turkey’s commercial vehicle manufacturer Anadolu Isuzu leads the sector in the number of Registered Designs and Utility Models and makes the top ten in the number of patents awarded to its R&D Center in 2020 as published in Turkishtime magazine’s R&D 250 list.

Turkuaz, Anadolu Isuzu’s medium-size tourism vehicle that ensures superior comfort for the driver and the passengers, has started to serve on the roads of Serbia. Anadolu Isuzu recently delivered 10 Turkuaz vehicles to Lasta, a major Serbian tour operator.
Isuzu Novociti Life, developed by Anadolu Isuzu with a low floor design as a solution to changing market needs, began operating on the roads of Spain. Following its entry to the Spanish market the previous year with the Turkuaz model, Anadolu Isuzu recently delivered four Novociti Life buses to the city of Ponferrada.
Citiport 12, developed by Anadolu Isuzu’s R&D center to meet local and international customers’ requirements, began serving the city of Tetovo, North Macedonia. Anadolu Isuzu delivered 5 Citiport 12 buses to the Tetovo Municipality.
Anadolu Isuzu continues with its new product launch program. The award-winning Kendo/Interliner and Grand Toro, developed by the Anadolu Isuzu R&D center in European quality standards to meet customer requirements recently visited North Macedonia as part of a demo tour and were received with great interest.
