Isuzu Novociti Life, developed by Anadolu Isuzu with a low floor design as a solution to changing market needs, began operating on the roads of Spain. Following its entry to the Spanish market the previous year with the Turkuaz model, Anadolu Isuzu recently delivered four Novociti Life buses to the city of Ponferrada.

Anadolu Isuzu continues to grow its presence in the Spanish market, which it first entered in late 2019. Strengthening its position in the international markets every day despite the pandemic, Anadolu Isuzu recently marked another achievement in the Spanish market. Anadolu Isuzu delivered four Novociti Life buses to the city of Ponferrada after winning the municipality’s tender. The delivery ceremony took place on March 15, 2021 at the bus park of the Ponferrada Municipality. In addition to executives from the company’s Spanish distributor Mobility Bus and Jean Louis Coppieters, Anadolu Isuzu’s consultant for Western Europe, Ponferrada Mayor Olegario Ramon, and Service Manager Susana Garcia also attended the ceremony.

Tuğrul Arıkan, General Manager, Anadolu Isuzu noted that the company won the tender of the Ponferrada Municipality with its Spanish distributor Mobility Bus, “We are delighted and proud to deliver such an important order during the COVID-19 pandemic. The high technology vehicles that we develop to meet the needs of our export markets see great interest in Europe. We continue to receive orders from both the domestic market and also other countries. We have operated for over a year in the Spanish market where we delivered our Turkuaz model and we continue to grow our product range here. At Anadolu Isuzu, we aim to win important municipal tenders as well as operator fleet sales in Spain as with all our markets in line with our 2021 export targets.”

The low-floor design of Novociti Life also supports participation of the disabled and elderly population more in social life. The engine technology that complies with Euro 6C emission norms delivers high energy efficiency and low fuel consumption, thuse meeting the emission requirements of European municipalities.
