Anadolu Isuzu, one of Turkey's
leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, came together with the automotive
sector media at a special factory tour event. At the press meeting held at
Anadolu Isuzu's modern production facilities in Gebze Çayırova, members of the
media visited the R&D and Technology center, as well as observing the
"Tailored Manufacturing" model and the Smart Factory practices
implemented by the company in its modern production facilities.
Delivering a speech at the event,
Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan expressed his gratification for gathering
again in physical activities, after a considerably long break. Arikan stated as
follows:
“Our factory in Çayırova is ranked
among the most modern commercial vehicle production facilities, not only in
Turkey but also in the world. Organizing this event in our factory means a lot
and important for us. We make versatile contributions to the export, economy
and development of Turkey with the production we make in our facilities that is
positioned as one of the most important production and R&D centers of the
Turkish automotive industry, growing stronger each and every year. We feel very
proud of the fact that the vehicles we produce in these facilities with the
'tailor made' model, operate effectively in hundreds of cities within 45
countries, all around the world. We keep increasing the locality rate in
production every year. As we have done so far, we will continue our strong,
stable and determined investments in production quality and technology
infrastructure uninterruptedly.”
