Arıkan added, “Our manufacturing operations and exports continue at full speed despite the pandemic. Our vehicles, which we develop to meet the requirements of our export markets, are equipped with high technology, and greatly favored in Europe. In spite of the slowdown due to the pandemic, we continue to receive orders from the domestic and international markets. Our goal is to increase our market share in different segments in Turkey and in other countries, and to achieve our sales targets with new products that will be added this year.”
A midibus with the comfort of a regular bus
Isuzu Novociti Life, with its low-floor design, was born as a solution to the changing market requirements. As a bus concept with smaller dimensions than large and medium-sized buses, Novociti Life also targets cities with narrow streets and supports integration of people with disabilities and the elderly more into social life with its low-floor design. Novociti Life, which has the look of a regular bus in smaller dimensions, is powered by an FPT-branded NEF4 engine, which generates 186 horsepower and 680 Nm torque. FPT's no-EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) engine technology meets Euro 6C emission norms while enabling high energy efficiency and low fuel consumption, features that municipalities in Europe require in terms of norms. Isuzu Novociti Life’s design, which considers both the passengers’ comfort and also minimum servicing times, has been recognized with three awards in a year.
Anadolu Isuzu’s Citibus is a 9.5m medium sized bus, designed to meet the public transportation needs of cities with historic narrow streets and smaller cities with low population. As a medium sized bus also preferred by metropolitan municipalities, Citibus comes with lower investment and low operating costs, optimal passenger capacity and easy maneuverability in narrow streets, making it an ideal public transportation vehicle with its compact dimensions..
Comfortable and efficient with optimal fuel consumption, Citibus is powered by a 204 HP 4HK1 Isuzu engine, and offered with manual and automatic transmission options. With spacious interiors, kneeling capability and easy-to-use wheelchair ramp, Citibus delivers an accessible ride for all passengers. Citibus is equipped with all required safety systems, and ensures a safe journey for both passengers and the driver in busy city traffic thanks to a host of features that include ABS, ASR, integrated retarder, hill-holder, independent air suspension and interior camera system.
