Anadolu Isuzu has launched its newly renovated full cataphoresis plant, with its strong production experience and competence in R&D and innovation. Standing out with its high technology and equipped with the latest equipment in the sector, the facility has started operations.
Anadolu Isuzu aims to perfectly protect the surface of its vehicles, prolong their service life and ensure their quality with the full cataphoresis facility, which includes the most advanced technologies. Cataphoresis coating, which is the most ideal type of coating for the automotive industry, also makes a significant contribution to sustainability goals, especially energy efficiency.
Speaking at the opening of the facility, Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan said: “The full cataphoresis facility was an important step in line with the increasing production volume of our bus and midibus product groups, customer expectations, quality and durability targets. This investment, which is a ‘compact facility’ in terms of meeting the needs of all vehicles we currently produce and will produce in our factory, was designed to cover all kinds of product options that can be produced. The coating process, which includes twelve giant process tanks, was designed to coat very different products such as bus bodies and truck cabins, which require various technologies and capabilities, in the desired quality. In this respect, it stands out as the most flexible and capable facility in Turkey.”
Emphasizing that all operational processes will become easier with cataphoresis coating, Tuğrul Arıkan continued as follows: “Thanks to our innovation studies for this facility, which stands out from all its examples; operations such as downloading, baking, cooling will be carried out without operator intervention. This technology also demonstrates our determination in environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.”
